Senior Rental Consultant
Jane is a Senior Tent Rental Consultant for Stamford Tent & Event Services. She joined the company in 1987. During that time, Jane has helped countless customers build memorable events by leaning on her knowledge and expertise built over the past 32 years. Relationships in the industry are invaluable, and Jane has forged such relationships with those who are now valued friends and respected colleagues. This is due to the respect that Jane has garnered throughout the industry and her unique approach to every single event.
Prior to joining Stamford Tent, Jane began her career as an elementary school teacher in southern California. Her sales career began in hotel banquet sales in Minneapolis and upon moving to New York, began her work in the events industry by immersing herself into the off-premise catering industry in New York City.
When not attending events and/or traveling to and from the Hamptons where many of her clients reside and work, Jane fits in as much golf as she possibly can as it is one of her great passions. She enjoys entertaining for friends and spends quality time with her son at every opportunity.
Graham joined Stamford Tent & Event Services in 1998 as a Tent Rental Consultant. A tenting expert, Graham brings 30 years of experience with him to Stamford Tent. That experience manifests as customer satisfaction, since there are very few, if any scenarios that Graham has not come across and excelled in. He understands the concerns of the customer and puts his tent knowledge, attention to detail and expertise to work during the planning and execution of each and every event.
Graham earned a degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University. He began his professional career in the Tent & Party Rental industry in 1980 and prior to joining Stamford Tent, owned and operated his own business in the tent industry for 18 years.
A dedicated family man, Graham enjoys time with his wife and son. Also an avid sports fan, he enjoys playing basketball and tennis, while taking in as many Minnesota Vikings games as he can find on TV.
Mike joined Stamford Tent & Event Services in 2003. As a Tent Rental Consultant, Mike is tasked with assisting our customers with their event needs in terms of tenting, flooring, staging, HVAC and more. In the past 7 years, he has become one of the most knowledgeable tenting experts in the company.
With a bachelor's degree from Pace University, Mike began his professional career with MetLife. He had then held positions at CBS Cable and Memberworks prior to joining Stamford Tent & Event Services.
Since 2001, Mike has been a volunteer fireman at Belltown FD. He enjoys playing softball, going to Yankee Stadium to watch his favorite team, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Ian joined Stamford Tent & Event Services in 2010. As a tent rental consultant, Ian uses his abilities to think outside of the box as he assists our customers in the planning of their events and developing of creative solutions to ensure their event exceeds expectations.
As a teenager, Ian worked alongside his father at his family's HVAC company, quickly becoming an expert in the HVAC industry, specializing in sheet metal fabrication, gas and refrigerant piping, low voltage electrical wiring and HVAC sales.
Prior to joining the team at Stamford Tent and Event Services, Ian also worked as a bank teller, personal banker and mortgage broker. Most recently, Ian was a technical engineer at Pack-Timco for nearly 3 years.
A proud Yankees fan, Ian's excellent work ethic is matched with a variety of interests such as tying his own flies while fly fishing the coastline in search of striped bass, and enjoying the outdoors to the fullest spending time by the water. Ian is also a dog lover, and during his down time can be found hanging with his dog, Ginger.
Doug has dedicated over 30 years to helping events be successful. He started out as an installer, learning his craft from PJ (Pat) McBride himself, to today being one of the most respected individuals in the tent and event industry. Doug is always available to his customers, as you would expect, but he also makes himself available to answer our competitors’ questions as he strives to make the tent industry safer and well respected.
Steve started his career as a carpet installer and eventually wound up in sales working for a Long Island based carpeting company. In 1993 he made a career move, choosing to work in the growing and ever changing event tent rental arena. His outgoing personality and dedication to the end user makes him a perfect match for our tent and event customers. Steve has the ability to put anyone at ease, helping to reduce your stress load and like all of us, is dedicated to making your event the event you envision. Steve always goes that extra mile.
Prior to joining Stamford Tent & Event Services in April 2015, George managed a B2B industrial wholesale supply company and worked 3 years as a Gameday Sales & Service Intern for his favorite football team, the New York Jets. He was a 2012 graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Major in Business Management.
George’s customer-focused mindset has transitioned naturally within the Special Events Industry. As a former collegiate athlete, his competitive nature has translated into providing the utmost value by striving for perfection on every project. George continually seeks to stay a step ahead in event planning. His charismatic energy and creative solutions will surely help bring your event planning to life. His client’s needs are his main concern, and turning their vision into a reality is his ultimate goal.
When George is not in the office or meeting with clients, he finds time to spend with friends and family. He enjoys playing all sports and coaches a youth baseball team each spring. He also enjoys barbequing, and his favorite food is a tie between a buffalo chicken pizza and a steak burrito.
Alex re-joined Stamford Tent & Event Services in January of 2019 as a rental consultant, after his past stint as a tent installer in 2015. As an installer he has seen and installed almost every tent under the sun. He now brings his former expertise in the field to the sales team. His prior experience in the field allows him to take all he's learned over his decade in the tenting industry to bring a unique perspective to every job site he visits.
Prior to joining Stamford Tent, he was the Senior Foreman for Farrell's Big Top Rentals in Northeast Pennsylvania. He then went on to be a Systems Engineer for Old Cove Integrators L.L.C. developing smart homes.
Even though Alex is no longer in the field his passion for carpentry comes home with him on the weekends where he enjoys building and crafting whatever he can imagine. He's also a dedicated sports fan of all teams Philadelphia and knows Geno's is the best cheesesteak in the city.
Despite his busy schedule he always finds the time for his wife and son every chance he gets.
